Design collaboration inefficiency costs teams and companies. As you plan for '24, consider how you can improve collaboration and amplify your teams' impact
Thanks to everyone who contributed their perspectives! Changing this begins with getting internal clients or informal team members in other areas like IT and product or business to have empathy and understanding for what UX can do. A great way to do this is to have all these diverse groups participate in a design thinking sprint or empathy experience TOGETHER. When they see the power of each step, it's transformative and they become advocates. It changes minds from "build this" to engaging partners in finding the right problem to solve and developing the best solution! If you'd like ideas on empathy exercises, how to create a live practice design thinking sprint for cross-functional teams, or to attend our free webinar on empathy, reach out.
