Spacebobs Droids has once again opened its Droid Division Workshop to bring you a super detailed and solid state Security Droid Body to go with the separately sold Head.
To be clear you need both sets of files to make the whole Droid.
The Droid STL files include everything you need to print the whole Body Minus the Head.
Listing is NOT a physical item/prop, but it is, FILES for 3D PRINTING at home.
As files cannot be returned to me... I cannot refund money anymore unfortunately, be very sure of this before buying.
Important! This is the only place I sell my DroidDivision (Spacebobs) 3D files and they take me a very long time to make.
If you see another Etsy Shop offering fake DroidDivision (or Spacebobs) files, they are pretending to be me! and scamming me lol.
There will be no support at all if you buy those useless files, please only buy from me here directly.
As with all DD 3D files they are single person usage and not to be shared or sold, even if (especially if lol) modified.
As this is such a huge project with many printer options, I will definitely need to update the information PDF and probably the odd file too so, very important…
Make sure you save your original Link PDF from Etsy so you can re-access the K2Dropbox folders at a later date when needed.
He is an articulated Droid but some articulations are limited.
The legs do not have moveable joints at the Ankle Knee and Hip but is fixed with slight angles to give the illusion of a pose-able stance. Leg parts are designed to slide over a 1 inch metal pole or pipe to make a stable base to the Droid.
The upper Droid is fully poseable as normal from the Hip to Belly connection, up.
It can be filled and finished to your own standard but even looks great printed at 0.3 layer height and left with the layer lines as it’s a robot.
The files also include a PDF with instructions and pictures on how to complete the build and a list of ideal hardwares needed to make the Droid...
You will need to buy leg and torso poles just like my other taller Droids.
I make all my droids for stability and if you have used the correct 1 inch diameter metal poles K2 will stand perfectly well, however…
K2 is so tall and so top heavy and just well, heavy, that for any public display I must recommend you use a Mannequin Base/Bases.
He stands at about 2160mm (7ft 2) to the top of his head.
All of the files in the main folders are for those with a large printer (CR-10, Ender5+) also this time because of the size there is also one file for the lower torso that is for a 500x500 printer.
Files have also been split further into pieces for smaller printers, some of these smaller printer parts are very tight on the Ender 3 bed so make sure your bed size is set Max at the full 220 x 220 if you have trouble. Again keep Download link for any slicing updates.
I have a very simple Patreon for those that can afford it and that think my files are a bit to cheap... patreon.com/droiddivision
Check out his Tee https://teespring.com/droid-division-15?tsmac=
File downloaded will simply be a PDF with an introduction to the build which contains a link to the Droids most updated STL and Information Dropbox Files.
