Senior Graphic Designer | Open to relocate

🍁Hallo! Last week, I was a madame from Amsterdam, dodging weather conditions surviving like a champ, and reveling in the city’s inspiring atmosphere. But let's dive into today's topic: the AI buzz in the world. So, OpenAI is making waves, and you can apparently snag a premium subscription on eBay for a whopping 650 euros (seriously, don't). And by the way, Sam Altman is still rocking the OpenAI. Big congrats to him! Now, there's this fear floating around that AI will take over the world, and we'll have robot overlords. So, I decided to have a heart-to-heart with my dear AI buddy in ChatGPT. Can it step into my shoes as a graphic designer? The answer I got was a solid "No, my lady." Oops. Why? Because graphic design is all about that creativity, artistic flair, and a deep sense of visual elements—things AI doesn't exactly have on its resume. Sure, it can assist with ideas or toss some info into the mix, but when it comes to the real deal, you need a human touch. AI doesn't know your brand, company, team, or the vibe you're going for. It's not passionate about making your ad a hit, no matter what it claims. No hard feelings, AI. Now, don't get me wrong; I'm all about embracing new tech. ChatGPT helps with text, Dali and Midjourney churn out killer pics, Adobe Firefly zaps away stuff with its removal AI magic. AI-generated faces and hands are on the low side (sorry). But the more we use these tools, the better they get. Here's the thing: designers, like doctors or lawyers, create because of their expertise. Just the other day, I whipped up an idea and drafts for a client in 30 minutes. Easy peasy? Yeah, for me. Why? Because I've been in the design game for 7 years, facing challenges and soaking up experiences. I put in the hours to learn and create, making me a design ninja. So, this AI talk isn't about replacement; it's about having a wingman in your design journey. It can be that extra channel saving you time or unlocking creative blocks. Cheers, Your not from Paris madame P.S. Photos by my incredibly talented Vladyslav Androshchuk

Yeah, it is also more than a year since Chatgpt public introduction and while the wingman becomes better it did not turn into overlord over night. Great pics from Vladyslav Androshchuk 👏🏼
