THE MAKHANA POLITICS OF BIHAR 😎 Certainly, this is interesting! There have been many flamboyant aspects of Indian politics. For instance, Atal Ji used bus diplomacy to his advantage, and Mr. Modi supported Trump during the most recent US Presidential elections. Agreed? The Makhana diplomacy is what I want to emphasize here, though. However, Bihar-specific diplomacy has a significant influence on electoral wins. both the BJP and the opposition. What if I told you that Makhana Kheer was served to opposition leaders at the all-parties gathering in Bihar? Sharad Pawar, MK Stalin, Mamta Banerjee, and Sanjay Singh all praised Bihar's unusual cuisine, but Makhana stole the stage. I'm talking about, Bihar aaye aur Makhana nahi khaya to kya khaya 😉 Do you think I'm right? Surprisingly, Makhana also had a tremendous push under Mr. Modi's leadership, both locally and internationally. If I were to translate this for you, the BJP-led center is making every effort to improve the Mallah community, from building the Darbhanga airport to giving Makhana the GI tag and directly transferring the benefit to Makhana farmers to the electrification of the remote villages in Bihar. In the family of dry fruits, Makhana may appear to be a supporting actor, but believe me when I say that this Superfood is now getting the much-needed attention. With the Mallah community becoming more powerful every day and major companies like Haldiram, Bikanervala, DS Group, etc. joining in, the situation is altering drastically. How about if I also tell you that I got this straight from the horse's mouth? Yes, Santosh, is an experienced Makhana farmer in Supaul who has become a fan of the BJP due to its distinctive policies. He is hopeful, nevertheless, because Makhana has vowed to increase its revenue from 75000 Crore Rs to at least 10X in the upcoming years, meaning that any party that gains power at this time will have to address their issues. AIMIM and the Performance of the Biggest Muslim Political Figure in India - Asaduddin Owaisi Since 2014, AIMIM and BRS have shared a 'friendly relationship'; although the two parties are not part of a formal alliance, they support each other whenever necessary. But, Asaduddin Owaisi thinks BJP's strengthening in the State is due to KCR's mistakes. Hence, they planned to secure their Fortress. AIMIM perceives that If the AIMIM is confined to just 7 seats, the BJP, with the help of the Modi government at the Centre, will make every effort to crush MIM. If the AIMIM has at least 12-15 MLAs in the assembly, it can stiffly resist the BJP." The MIM is eyeing some strong Muslim-dominated constituencies in Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad, where the Party has a small but strong cadre and vote base. The Party had also won several seats in Nizamabad, Nirmal, and Adilabad municipalities. The AIMIM also hopes to lure the OBC and Dalit sections in parts of northern Telangana by offering them seats. Since there is anti-incumbency against the TRS, those who do not want the BJP to replace the TRS might tilt towards the AIMIM,". The MIM might also prefer to flow with Congress if it wins majority seats in the assembly elections, leading to a hung situation because it wants to get out of KCR's influence or expand itself. It is more like a Plan B if BRS fails. Undoubtedly, AIMIM has been winning for the last 4 decades in the Old City and has done an excellent job. In September 2022, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi wrote to Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. In his letter, the topics suggested to him included the welfare of minorities, protection of Waqf lands, developmental activities in the Old City, scholarships, Aasara pensions, unemployment honorarium to youth, welfare schemes, recruitment of Urdu teachers in government schools, protection of 4 percent reservations for Muslims, and so on. AIMIM and Asaduddin and Akbaruddin Owaisi also pushing for the maintenance grants for Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha projects, in the release of funds for NREGS, and local bodies also expressed their dissent on the reluctance of the Centre to set up NID in Old City, Mega Power Park, and Textiles Cluster in Telangana. To extend Metro rail connectivity in the Old City and also regarding the road widening works in the Old City, in addition to the Charminar Pedestrian Project (CPP) works and construction of two bridges for hawkers near Salarjung Museum and twin towers on the Osmania General Hospital premises. The AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi also pushed for setting up free job-oriented coaching centers for candidates to help the poor and ordinary people. A few of these projects have already started; most are yet to be started and will be completed as soon as possible.
