Inteno Group becomes Genexis Group and appoints new CEO

Genexis Group AB, owned by an investment consortium led by Swedish investor Accent Equity, has finalized the acquisition of Inteno Group AB, a fast-growing supplier of products and software solutions for fiber broadband communications.

Genexis Group will continue its dedication to fiber broadband communication with further focus on expanding its products and service offering as well as continued geographic growth. Effective today, Gerlas van den Hoven has been appointed CEO of the Genexis Group, while continuing his role to head up Genexis, the subsidiary of Genexis Group addressing the market for broadband products in fiber-to-the-home and WiFi.

At the same time, Conny Franzén, former CEO of Inteno Group will take over the responsibility of IOPSYS Software Solutions AB, the subsidiary of Genexis Group targeting the upcoming market for open-source-based software for broadband and IOT. Furthermore, Conny Franzén is appointed vice president of the Genexis Group. With these appointments, Genexis Group is positioning itself for the next growth phase.
