Sew Spoiled Wristlet Pattern (with detachable key fob)

Step 1: Gather your supplies ( 2 pieces of fabric 18” X 22 ”
( f or directional prints you may want to have 1/2 a yard ) , 7 ”
zipper, D-ring, key ring, hook, matching string, interfacing, zip- per foot for machine ) ( Diagram 1a ) and cut out the pattern.
Step 2: Fuse the interfacing to the back of front panels and
handle ( key fob ) by ironing on them on. ( Diagram 2a )
Step 3: Mark the interfacing for the pleats on the front panels.
The marks for the pleats are on the wristlet body template.

MATERIALS LIST FOR WRISTLET (Finished Wristlet size 9 1/2” wide X 5” tall)
Please note that if you are using heavier weight home decor fabric, you do not need to use interfacing.
2 pieces of 18”x 22” (2 fat quarters) or for directional prints 1/2 a yard.
1– 7” zipper, 1- D-ring, 1– key ring , 1– swivel hook.
Craft fuse interfacing or light weight interfacing that is iron on.

Step 4: Sew the pleats in place, try to stay close to the top. ( Diagram 4a ) Stitch 1/4 ” to the top of
the fabric. This is a back and front view after sewing the pleats. ( Diagram b-c ) Make sure to cut the
strings , we don ’ t want them to get into the zipper.
Step 5: Get your Zipper Foot out!! ( Diagram 5a ) Layer the pleated fabric first right side up, the zipper
wrong side up ( Diagram 5b ) and the lining wrong side up ( Diagram 5c ) . Pin the three layers
together.
