Epstein offered ‘reward’ to disprove claim Stephen Hawking had ‘underage orgy’: court docs

Jeffrey Epstein said he’d pay a reward to accuser Virginia Giuffre’s friends if they helped debunk her claim that Stephen Hawking had participated “in a underage orgy” in the Virgin Islands, newly unsealed court documents reveal.

“You can issue a reward to any of virginias friends acquaionts family [sic] that come forward and help prove her allegations are false,” the late pedophile wrote in a typo-ridden email to his madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, on Jan. 12, 2015.

“The strongest is the clinton dinner, and the new version in the virgin isalnds that stven hawking partica-ted [sic] in an underage orgy,” the email concluded.

The 66-year-old dead financier was apparently attempting to help Maxwell, 62, fight Giuffre’s accusation that Maxwell had defamed her by saying she lied when she claimed she was Epstein’s “sex slave” and about salacious allegations regarding notable figures.

Nearly 1,000 pages of filings were re-released without redactions or made public for the first time Wednesday evening in Giuffre’s since-settled 2015 defamation case against Maxwell — in a document dump that unmasked handfuls of people who had previously been listed in the documents as “Jane Does” and “John Does.”

Epstein’s email seemed to be part of Maxwell’s efforts to attack Giuffre’s credibility by proving key aspects of her accounts were alleged lies — including what Epstein said was one of the “strongest” pieces of evidence to shred Giuffre’s believability, the seemingly far-fetched tale that the late British physicist and quadriplegic could have participated in group sex.

Hawking, who died in 2018 after living with the degenerative disease ALS for over 50 years, did have ties to Epstein — who fostered relationships with elite scientists to pursue fringe theories.

Hawking attended a conference for world-renowned scientists funded and hosted by Epstein in March 2006 — five months before the financier was charged with soliciting prostitution in Florida, the Daily Mail reported.

During the “The Energy of Empty Space That Isn’t Zero” conference, a group of 21 scientists were treated to five-star, $1,500-a-night digs at the Ritz-Carlton hotel on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas, near Epstein’s private island.

Photos of Hawking surfaced in 2015 showing him at a barbecue before boarding a submarine retrofitted so the disabled professor could go underwater for the first time. It wasn’t clear on which island Hawking was pictured.

Giuffre, aka Virginia Roberts, has claimed that Bill Clinton — who was photographed with Epstein and flew on his private jet on multiple occasions — had visited Epstein’s island, Little St. James, and that he walked into the night with two beautiful women on his arms.

Clinton has denied visiting the isle — notoriously dubbed “Pedophile Island” by locals — and has denied any wrongdoing.

Maxwell also maintained that Clinton was never on the island, another alleged fact that she attempted to use to debunk Giuffre’s claims.

Giuffre hasn’t accused Clinton of any wrongdoing and the documents don’t implicate Clinton.

Epstein allegedly told one of his victims that Bill Clinton liked his girls “young,” according to a newly released deposition.

The document dump did reveal that one Epstein victim, Johanna Sjoberg, testified in a deposition that Epstein told her Clinton “likes them young, referring to girls.”

The identities of over 170 Epstein associates, ex-employees, and victims began to be revealed Wednesday including disgraced Prince Andrew, former Presidents Clinton and Donald Trump, late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, magician David Copperfield, and others.

Epstein hanged himself in a Lower Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while he was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.

Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004. She is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
