As the lead singer and guitarist for The Descendants—the biggest rock band in a decade—I’m used to groupies throwing themselves at me.
Then, one night, thanks to an “access all areas” backstage pass and my sister-in-law, I met someone different to all the others. We fooled around behind the tour bus, but was it more than just a casual hook-up?
Eyes as blue as the sea and a body made for sin...he was the complete package. He was everything I never knew I needed.

Then our paths crossed again. One night with him was enough to make me see what a fool I’d been. But then a long kept secret rears its head, forcing me to confront things I would rather stay buried.
If I can’t contain it, the media will use it to destroy me and everything I hold dear.

Author Keren Hughes is an author that I read, no matter what. She delivers characters and storylines that are relatable as was well as raw and real. However, her MM stories hold a special place in my book loving heart.
Culhwch and Houston are men on two very different paths in life. Yet, both are looking for something to fulfill them. When a chance meeting leads to burning desires, both physically and emotionally, it seems to be the perfect scenario. But again, two different paths, two different stories, and two broken hearts.
Time and distance may help mend things but it doesn’t always forget them. And once again, these two seem to battle feelings. But Houston has softened his edges while Culhwch has fortified his walls. Is there a second chance at love? Can they trust not only their hearts but secrets to be guarded safely?
Both men grabbed my heart in different ways. Strength and acceptance of one’s self. Fear and repercussions from others. Hughes highlighted the difficulties this couple faced personally and publicly and she did so in a way that allowed readers to understand their journey. Hughes also did an amazing job in bringing about the love affair they shared.

I'm sure this book will resonate with many readers. Houston sacrifices his own happiness to please others and also out of fear. I'm sure many people can relate to that, I can. Reading this story will pull at your heartstrings so make sure to have a tissue or 10 at the ready. Keren Hughes takes you on a journey with Houston and Culhwch through all their ups and downs, their good times and bad and the outcome is spectacular. These guys will quickly earn a spot in your heart and umm hello they are hot as hades too!!

When Keren tells me she is writing a MM book I really can’t wait to read it and she never disappoints with her storylines.
Culhwch is such a likeable character he is gay and totally honest with everyone about it. So when he meets a guy that can’t be so honest you feel how disappointed he is with t situation.
Houston is a huge rock star you feels coming out might destroy all he has worked to achieve. He is so torn with what to do.
These 2 guys you will love and feel for both of them with all the twists in the book.
Definitely a must read.
