Gardner Food Co-op Community Interest Survey

Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center (RMEOC) is a nonprofit organization that is conducting a feasibility study for the possibility of opening a cooperative grocery story in Gardner. The purpose of this survey is to determine if there is sufficient community interest to continue pursuing this venture.  If the results of this survey indicate that there is enough interest, steps will be taken to further the development of a cooperative.

A food cooperative is locally owned and governed, and benefits are shared with the member-owners. Each member-owner purchases a single share of common stock, votes for the board of directors and may receive discounts or a percentage of store profit.
