WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University freshman Caleb Knight continues his spectacular start to his first season on campus with his second KCAC Men's Golfer of the Week award, the conference office announced today (Mar. 18).
It's the second award in as many competitions for Knight, who was again stellar in helping the Falcons record a runner-up finish at the Crestview Spring Invitational in Wichita.
Knight came in third individually and was just one stroke from a second place showing with a total score of 72-74-75-221.
"Caleb had three very consistent rounds in very difficult conditions," said Dustin Galyon, Friends University Director of Golf and Men's Golf head coach. "He continues to take steps forward. I am most excited about the mental toughness and growth that I see in that aspect of his game."
The Falcons are currently competing in the Jinx Invitational today and tomorrow (Mar. 19) at the Winfield Country Club in Winfield, Kan.
