“We want to encourage more women to reach their ambitions, take up leading positions and find inspiring role models” TWIST, “Towards more Women In Science and Technology”, is an initiative born from a group of scientists across the different life science institutions in Basel, Switzerland (D-BSSE (ETH), UniBasel, SwissTPH, FMI) aiming to create a network to empower and connect women in STEM within the Basel area. We organize several events that encourage people to interact, create new opportunities and address issues surrounding careers and education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
