Senior Full Stack Engineer - Romania remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex financial applications that streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and ensure the security and reliability of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of sophisticated financial applications, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient full stack solutions that adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster professional growth within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and internal processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong emphasis on both frontend and backend development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Expertise in backend technologies like Node.js, Python, Java, or similar, with experience in designing and building APIs and microservices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in web development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in the financial industry or fintech projects is advantageous.
• Communicating in English fluently (both written and spoken) is required.
