I just purchased this Mac Mini to replace my iMac 2017. I only got it because Apple (for what ever reason) is refusing to make a 27-inch iMac these days. This computer works great and is very fast. If there is a fan in it I would not know it because it is 100% quiet.. I wish it had more USB-A style ports. 2 of them simply isn't enough. And buying a 3rd party dock works fine but now I'm back in cable-hell, LOL.
Apple migration assistance worked flawlessly. Everything from m 2017 iMac came across in about 2 hours (it was pretty full) and when it was finished the Mac Mini was exactly setup like my old iMac.
I ended up pairing it with a Samsung 34-inch ultra wide and I love it. Having that extra horizontal screen real estate makes a nice difference.
