Team G-REX from Kongu Engineering College showcased their groundbreaking project at the KPIT Sparkle 10th edition and emerged as the winner. Their innovation revolves around an HHO gas generation system designed to be an alternative energy source. The core of their idea lies in generating hydroxy gas directly from the vehicle system, a concept that significantly reduces reliance on traditional fuels. One of the key highlights of their project is the development of a control system that can produce hydroxy gas on demand. This system utilises pulsating signals to the electrolytes, ensuring a corrosion-free operation. The hydroxy gas produced boasts a high calorific value, leading to excellent combustion efficiency. This innovative approach not only promotes sustainability but also paves the way for cleaner and more efficient energy solutions in the automotive industry.
