[𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘁 🇱🇧, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵 – 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯] We're thrilled to have participated in the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲 held in #Beirut from October 9th to 11th, organized by Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). The primary goal of this event was to strengthen business partnerships between companies from the 88 member states of the organization and various governments. This mission brought together key stakeholders from diverse French-speaking countries to engage in discussions about the opportunities and challenges in areas such as #Trade and #Investment, with a specific focus on the #AgroIndustry, #RenewableEnergy, as well as other sectors like #Digital, pharmaceuticals, #cosmetics, and #Tourism within the region. As part of our mission to bring the Private Equity and Investment Ecosystems of Colombia and the UAE closer, last month I had the opportunity to host in Colombia a high level UAE Delegation led by H.E. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the UAE - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation The delegation included executives from Emirati institutions that are interested in enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, and trade fields such as DP World, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Mubadala, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company), G42, COP28 UAE, Dubai Chambers, among other. From Ishka Group, a key investor from the UAE in Colombia, we contributed to the dialogue by organizing in collaboration with the Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo and PROCOLOMBIA and, with the support of Servientrega CS , The Colombia – UAE Business Forum 2023. The third edition of this forum saw the attendance of 60 leading companies and government entities from UAE and Colombia in the fields of Private Equity, Logistics and Ports, Energy, Agroindustry and Health.
