In recognition of the financial difficulties many now face, and to support the development of all writers, Figment is committed to offering workshops (and other writing experiences) for free to all writers who are unable to pay.
It's a well-established fact that working-class writers are under represented in the publishing industry. We want to help change this. Everyone deserves the chance to learn and to express themselves in a supportive and inspiring space!
We ask those who are able and willing to do so to make a donation of their choice to our scholarship fund. All proceeds will go towards funding places in the Figment Creativity workshops for those unable to pay (50% of the costs of these, and the Zoom membership fee are covered by Figment Creativity).
