In February of 2020, with no prior agency (or real business) experience, no money saved, and no idea what I was getting into, I launched Flying Cat Marketing, an SEO and content marketing agency.

In the first year, I nearly broke 6-figures.

The second year, we made just over $400k, and the third year we officially made $1.4M.

I did have to hustle the first year—it was the pandemic, after all—and I worked grueling hours and lost about 20 lbs from forgetting to eat while I was busy building.

The lessons that year aren't the ones I'll be sharing. For the last two years, I've only been working 35-50 hour weeks, and we've 3xed our revenue each year.
