This is a must eat when visiting this area! If there is a wait you can walk along the beach and enjoy the calmer Bay waters. This is also a great place to order wood-fired pizza for pickup!

For coffee, espresso or a quick bite head to Current Cafe. Local surfers run this place and sometimes they close for a surf! They have sand toys and beach wear if you want to shop for some goodies.

From the dome, head North on Netarts Hwy and keep left at the fork. The beach entrance is just past the post office on the left.
We recommend arriving as early as possible to get parking. You can also park along the main drag.

Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site
Oceanside public beach is the closest beach access and where you will find the best views of the Three Arch Rocks.
From the dome, head North on Netarts Hwy and keep left at the fork. The beach entrance is just past the post office on the left.
We recommend arriving as early as possible to get parking. You can also park along the main drag.
There are a few public beach accesses on Netarts Bay Drive. We go to the access near the boat ramp and in the same parking area as The Schooner Restaurant. From the dome, head South on Netarts Hwy. Turn Right on Netarts Bay Drive. Follow the signs to the restaurant and park in the main parking area. Walk North along the Bay beach for some quieter waters and serene views.

Coming from Portland - Stop at McMenamin's!
If you are driving from the Portland area and want a halfway point(ish) to stop for a bite to eat we love McMenamin's Grand Lodge in Forest Grove. You can walk around the hotel grounds and grab a bit to eat. 3505 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116
Ways to save
Safeway in Tillamook
We recommend stopping at the Safeway in Tillamook on your way to the dome. There are small grocery stores in Netarts but they are expensive. You will pass right by the Safeway getting on Netarts Hwy. 1815 4th St, Tillamook, OR 97141
Getting around
Gas in the Area - Fill up in Tillamook
Please also check your gas tank. There are no areas in Netarts or Oceanside to fill up. Be sure to fill up in Tillamook if needed!

Los Boy Cave and Secret Beach
This is a beach treasure! Go the the main Oceanside beach entrance and head North walking along the beach. You will see the tunnel to the hidden beach. Very fun for kiddos of all ages!
