Brings to the attention of the Board of Directors of the University of Connecticut in general, and the University of Connecticut School of Business in particular, the substantial demand for the offering of a undergraduate and/or graduate degree in “Global Venturing” which addresses the growing effects of globalization in business and the startup community.  The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Board of Directors of the University of Connecticut to approve the creation of an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in “Global Venturing” in collaboration with Daigle Labs.  This program will allow students to manage 25 businesses in Connecticut and an additional 25 businesses in an international country of the students choice.
