Dead Plate is a short 2D restaurant tycoon themed rpg horror game with visual novel and point-and-click elements set in 1960s France following the story of a lively waiter named Rody trying to make as much money as possible in a week at a fancy bistro owned by a charismatic and successful chef, Vince.

💔 KNOWN BUG S 💔
- If you can't seem to interact with objects, make sure you're pressing the correct direction (press arrow keys first) before pressing [Z].
- If you can't seem to clean up a table,
try pressing [Z] from the bottom right side of the table.
- There is a very inconsistent body double glitch where sometimes two protagonist sprites show up rather than one at the very end of one of the endings. If this ocrrus, please ignore.

in the middle of my first playthrough rn! i noticed a bug of sorts when im back at the apartment after a shift, i opened the fridge, closed it and then my sprite was gone? couldnt move around or interact with anything but the wardrobe :< not sure what happened there
WHY VINCENT IS SO FINE /CRY,anyways,I like the game but poor man Rody gets insulted every 2 seconds,I would love a good ending that isn't "dinner for one",but after knowing Manon I think its the best choice for him
also I wish I could play this instead of just watching others but on MAC it just either crashes immediately upon opening the game or has an error message when I try to play the tutorial 👍

I love the game but it keeps having errors. I'm on mac and whenever I try to move on to the next day, it goes black. I already deleted it and reinstalled it but nothing works. Can anyone help?

I LOVE THIS GAME SM!!! one issue however, when customers finish their order, their sprite just kind of stands and waits at the table, and i'm unable to pick up their check, even if i go behind the register :( love this game but its so hard to when theres a lot of bugs like that + not being able to continue off a save file, hope this game gets fixed in the future</3 would love to see the progress

(SPOILER WARNING SPOILER WARNING) I love this game...I managed to figure out all the endings myself, there was only one time the screen got stuck on a Vincent slide after I asked "why her?", the sounds would keep changing as I press Z but the art wouldn't change. That problem resolved itself when I reopened the game. Amazing work....Studio investigate is my inspiration. I love you all

Yeah, in the original we had it so he said, "Once your shift's over, all these dishes better be licked slow and carefully while I watch, yeah, yeah that's it, holy shit, do it more, yeah, just like that. Why don't you lick me clean~? Ahh, ahh, DaDdY HARDER HARDER HARDER, I'M CLOSE, woah, that felt amazing." We had to get change that because the dev's post-nut clarity said that it was too vanilla.
Rody will actually forever be my favorite character of all time. I love this game so much and I've replayed it over and over again.
I love this so goddamn much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed the MUSIC, the ART, even the gameplay a little when I got how everything works. The chase scene was stunning ;)))))) kinda made me be grateful for having a sense of taste😭

First and foremost I kinda struggled abit at first since I was not yet familiar with the game but when I did all is good.
I love how we have to do certain puzzles, like talking to Vince during different shifts, and I also absolutely love the art style! The music!! The thrill! Especially when Vince was chasing us I'm a person that easily gets excited when while that was happening I was like, "BRO NOT LET ME LIVE"- "RUN FASTER." -"THIS GOOFY ASS MAN!"
Also the LOREEEEEE, THE LORE IS LITERALLY WHAT KEPT ME ON MY TOES!!! I got so hooked to this game that I was literally lore dumping on a friend of mine, LIKE WHO WOULD'VE EXPECTED THAT? this game is really fun (for me) I hope to see more games from you guys (I've already played Elevator Hitch, currently downloading the other two) keep up the good work!!!:D

This seems like a really great game, but unfortuantely it's almost unplayable.. I barely got through day one. I have to mash the button many times before the option to interact with something will actually come up, and you have to be very finnecky about what tile the character is on or else it just won't work. This makes it almost impossible to play without getting all of the guests to leave early. Additionally, when I got to the Day 2 equip screen, no matter what button I pressed, I couldn't get the game to progress.
i had the same problem with the buttons and it gets better on the following days, just the first day that i think is a little bugged. as for the equip screen, you have to click on the door with your mouse, close to that letter thingy and then it'll work :D
when I opened up the file it said "Game.exe" and "Game.exe.exe" (Im on PC btw) its confusing me..-
