Position

Develop, maintain, expand, and manage Open GI’s trading relationships with assigned Enterprise Brokers to ensure Open GI extends its position as the Software House of Choice and market leading Broker Distribution Channel.


Your key responsibilities


  • Establish productive professional relationships with key employees in assigned Enterprise Broker Accounts
  • Actively contribute to the Enterprise Broking strategy of the business
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales, volume, and strategic objectives in those accounts
  • Proactively lead a joint company strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for both short and long-term
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Lead solution development to best address customer needs and company financial targets
  • Lead positively and by example

Requirements

Experience


  • Strong, relevant experience of the Insurance market from an Insurer/Broker/Software House perspective
  • Proven, current experience of overseeing and delivering relevant strategic propositions to partners and clients
  • In-depth knowledge of the Insurance market and the role of software houses as a distribution channel
  • Deep understanding of the benefits of electronic trading

  • Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to manage complex sales opportunities across organisations with multiple stakeholders
  • Driven self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Strong decision maker – disciplined; adaptable; focused
  • Lead by example - confident, professional, and approachable
  • Ability to interpret and present statistics both to Customer and to Colleagues up to Board level
  • Strong understanding of the insurance market and emerging technologies, digital/cloud/mobile
  • Full valid driving licence (with no more than 3 current penalty points)
