Tongue & Groove are an amateur choir that teams a professional Musical Director from theatre,
with talented and dedicated amateur performers.
We are all about engaging with the audience and putting on a good show.

We make sure that our rehearsals on Tuesday evenings (in East Dulwich from 7:30 to 9:30pm), are filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful experiences. We not only perfect our pitch and harmonies but also create a welcoming environment and foster friendships.

We are looking for members who love being on stage, can sing in harmony, perform simple choreography, and commit to learning words, notes and moves outside of rehearsals.

Meantime Chorus Logo.png

On a crisp August morning in 2015, a small group of friends gathered in a beer garden and founded a chorus — with the dream of sharing the music they loved with the world.

A decade on and now fifty strong, Meantime Chorus continues its mission to share the joy of a cappella and barbershop music with our audiences. We’ve performed for people all over the country, including in Brighton, Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester, Bournemouth and our home in London.

By pushing our musical boundaries, we’ve won national competitions and established ourselves as a prominent chorus in the vocal ensemble scene.

After becoming Barbershop National Champions in 2022, we were invited to the Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Contest where we finished 11th in the world, breaking all British records.

We are so grateful to be given this opportunity to share our music with a new audience. We really hope you enjoy what we have to offer.

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice.

By harnessing the power of music, we help break through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation.

Our work can be transformative, from an adult with dementia reconnecting with family to a child with autism finding their voice.
