Because of COVID-19; schools are closed and the kids have to stay at home. This is now for few months, so kids may find this lifestyle boring or extensively glued to TV or phone. But nature brings plenty of 'life' to the own backyard they can explore - birds, butterflies, bees, dragonflies etc. FOG-KIDS is the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL)'s junior membership and a special zoom online session has been organized to encourage kids to explore nature around them. This will be held online through Zoom teleconferencing facility by the FOG-KIDS coordinator Narmada Dangampola.

This session is open for kids aged 6 - 12 and will be conducted in mix of Sinhala/English language. Please note that only 100 can be accommodate for the zoom session, but this will be 'live stream' through FOGSL Facebook page. We will give priority to the zoom session for the 100 participants who registered first, but others can follow the session through FOGSL Facebook page. Once registered, we will email further instructions required to participate this. Registration deadline is 12 noon of 21st of November.
