It is exhausting to existing political classes normalize genocide in Gaza and across the world. Community Democracy Project invites you to come recharge and dance, in community that cares for each other. All funds going to Crips for eSims for Gaza, a effort by disabled people around the world to get as many eSims as possible into Gaza. This is what community looks like. DJ Karlita on the decks.

Free Palestine and COVID is not over.

KN95, KF94, N95 or higher rated masks required (well fitting, no vents). Please test before coming. Masks and tests available at door. Multiple air purifiers will be running. Far UV-C light on the dance floor. ADA accessible venue. Dance space and chill out space available. If you plan to wear shoes onto dance floor, please wear clean non-scuff shoes or be prepared to wear shoe covers. Wheelchairs and other mobility devices are welcome on the dance floor, along with socks, slippers, or bare feet. Refrain from wearing scented products.

If you feel sick or like you might be getting sick, please do not attend. If you have had COVID recently, do not attend unless you are testing negative and 10 days have passed since your first symptoms or positive test.

Transit accessible; AC Transit lines NL, 29, and 14 all run close to the venue. 1 mile to West Oakland BART. Please be aware of your surroundings, leave in pairs or groups.

There is no food or drink for sale at the event. There is a water fountain and reusable bottle refill. There is space to eat outside in front of the venue, if you want to bring a snack. Kowbird is also next door and open until 9, with outside seating.

Finally, consent is key. If you want to dance up close with someone, ask them. No means no, so if they say no, keep it moving and grooving in your own space. We are committed to keeping a no bullshit space.

ADA accessible dance floor and bathrooms. Bathrooms are gender neutral.
