City Power has announced an 8-hour power outage for 32 areas in Johannesburg on Sunday, due to essential maintenance.

City Power has officially informed Johannesburg customers about a scheduled power outage at the Randburg Substation on Sunday, 28 January.

Commencing at 8:00, the planned power outage will continue until 16:00, impacting various areas in Johannesburg.

Affected areas during the scheduled Johannesburg power outage on Sunday include:

  • Broskruin Ext 10, 16, 18
  • Bromhof Ext. 2, 16, 18, 19, 31, 36, 37, 38
  • Ferndale
  • Ferndale Ext. 3, 4
  • Malanshof Ext. 6
  • Northwold Ext. 4, 8
  • Randparkrif Ext. 53
  • Strijdompark
  • Strijdompark Ext. 1, 2, 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 17, 27
