As we are re-thinking and re-imagining our work during this pandemic, we recognize that our POC filmmaking community is experiencing a range of challenges and needs. We value the ideas and questions that some of you have already shared and raised on different platforms. Firelight's mission to support filmmakers of color and the stories that fill our popular culture with nuance, beauty, and complexity is most relevant during moments of crisis; history has shown it's our communities who lead with resilience and can re-imagine the status quo by centering our needs for the benefit of all. We want to hear from you on the different ways this crisis is impacting you, your communities, and your work so we can better assess how we can best serve and collaborate with each other during these difficult times.
