On Inzane Rugby League this week, host Zane Bojack was joined by Queensland Rugby League CEO Ben Ikin and former Cowboys second-rower John Manning.

The trio discussed the media boycott being conducted by the Rugby League Players Association with Ikin believing it was a courageous decison to not only take on the NRL over its refusal to appoint an independent arbitrator but to also go head to head with two of the countries biggest media organisations.

The QRL CEO also poured cold water on talks the NRL is considering taking State of origin to New Zealand claiming the third match of every series should be the only match available for purchase.

Former actor and now ABC Radio Brisbane producer John Manning talked about working with David Wenham and Gold Logie winner Ray Meagher while helping Ikin pick the greatest Maroons player of all time - excluding Wally Lewis, Cameron Smith and Arthur Beetson.
