April is Fair Housing Month!  Please join us for a special presentation from Texas Workforce Commission Lead Housing Investigator William Cooper  This special event will be held at the Bush Convention Center in downtown Midland, Texas.  Cost is $30 for members and $50 for non members.

William Cooper is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) where he severed for 29 years, 22 years as a Detective/Supervisor. In that capacity, Mr. Cooper has worked in a variety of assignment and is known for his technical expertise in handling highly sensitive inquiries internally, at both the State and Federal levels.

Mr. Cooper is one of two (2) Lead Housing Investigators at Texas Workforce Commission-Civil Rights Division and holds a Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Criminal Justice, and along with being a graduate of the Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation with Certificates in Homicide and Burglary Investigations and along with completing the West Point Leadership Program. Mr. Cooper has dedicated his life to breaking down walls and eliminating the US against them mentality, thereby, building strong bridges between TWCCRD and the frontline housing providers that he believes will provide better service to all Texans seeking housing.
