Description: STEAM Day will be filled with hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities. Over the course of the 3-hour session, students will be grouped based on grade level, and will be engaged in learning at their appropriate grade level. They will be programming robots and computers, completing problem-solving challenges, learning while making their own snack, and MORE! Students will leave with products of their learning and knowledge on how they can continue learning beyond the time at camp.
Who: Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children do not have to be Oakdale students to attend.
About the Teachers: Alli Pontious and Dustin Carlson have been teaching for 14 years in Westside. They are leaders in STEAM education in their school district and lead summer camps together. Alli is a PBS Digital Innovator and Dustin is an Apple Distinguished Educator. Both teachers are even National Board Certified!

Time: August 6th's STEAM Day Saturday will only be one session 8am-11am
