Thank you for your interest in joining a Small Church Community at St. Mary Student Parish. These small groups are designed to bring together people of all ages to pray and reflect on the Sunday readings. Group sharing also helps us to see God’s role in our lives, and to grow in faith and fellowship. Small groups will meet once a week for 90 minutes for seven weeks -- February 13 through April 2.

Please indicate your preferred availability and we will notify you later about your group placement.

Which SCC is right for you?
SCC groups are available for different populations at many different times. Please choose the SCC that you would most prefer. If there is more than one that would fit your schedule, please fill out the 2nd and 3rd choice options.


The group designations are described below:

OPEN: These groups are open to parishioners and students of any age, gender, or marital status.

UNDERGRAD: This group is for undergrad students. Note: Students are also welcome to join the other groups (except Grad/YP).

GRAD/YP: These groups include those who are graduate students or young professionals.

JustFaith - Exploring Racial Justice: This group takes a more in-depth look at faith and racial equality issues, and anti-racism work. Requires reading materials, created by the Just Faith organization. A new group will begin meeting in April. Details to be announced, but check the box to be put on the list.


LGBT and Friends: This group is open to allies, friends and people who identify with the LGBT community.

Most groups will meet at St. Mary (SMSP) unless otherwise noted.

Also, the weekly materials will be available on the parish website, so you can reflect on the Sunday readings at home (however, participation in a group is encouraged).
