Call out for interest

CWE are offering micro-commissions for performances, workshops and creative projects at the markets. 

If you have an idea that could help the market be a beautiful, entertaining and engaging place to be then please let us know and we’ll see if we can help you develop it further! 

Over the 5 markets between May and September there will be a number of commissions and performance opportunities worth £40 - £250 up for grabs.

Each market will have an overarching theme (titles tbc) and some commissions will link to these:

 May – We love the West End 

June – Young People Takeover (But everyone’s still welcome!)

July – We love the planet 

August – Carnival time

September – Fire and Food 

Examples of things you might want to offer

-       Live performance – poets, storytellers, dancers, singers, musicians, DJs, live artists, theatre performers, magicians, clowns…

-       Creative projects – exhibitions, visual arts, writing, film, spoken word, digital, crafts…

-       Workshops – interactive artistic activities for people to get stuck in with at the markets
