Story
We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for donating to this amazing charity. Of the 9 that took part, 8 of us finished, with one injured party unable to complete the race. Here is a lovely picture of the team following the race, all with our medals and smiles, and some before images getting ready for the race! Thank you everyone.
We are leaving this page open for the moment, so that we can still collect for Sue Ryder.
Team Ortus have put together a team of 10 runners and as a Group, we are raising money for Sue Ryder Palliative, Neurological and Bereavement Support. They recently supported Graham and his wife Joanna in their time of need, and beyond, and as such, Graham recommended them as the Ortus charity of choice for this event.
The Sue Ryder Charity focus on supporting people through the most difficult times of their lives, whether that’s a terminal illness, the death of someone close to them, or neurological conditions. They are there to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
They are a national organisation, have centres and support networks across the country and provide support to many thousands of people in need.
