La Commune To Host Three-Day Meditation Camp for Palestine in Nuweiba
The camp aims to immerse participants in the Palestinian culture and raise awareness about the ongoing atrocities in Gaza through different mediums.
In solidarity with Palestine, local community La Commune Camp will host a three-day meditation retreat amidst the soaring mountains of South Sinia’s Nuweiba.
Titled ‘La Commune des Artistes: A Meditation in Liberation’, the camp aims to provide a safe nurturing space for participants to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of Palestine, while also utilizing different art forms to raise awareness about the ongoing atrocities committed in the Holy Land.
Scheduled to run from December 29th to December 31st, the camp will offer a series of educational activities, such as talks, poetry and art lessons, film screenings, communal workshops, open mic sessions, theatre performances and calligraphy workshops, amongst many others.
