Join us for a conversation with comic artist, writer, and illustrator Liana Kangas (they/them) as we celebrate Women's History Month. The discussion will cover their experience working as an artist in the current social and technological landscape, creating comic books and graphic novels, influences, navigating the comic book industry and more! 

Liana has worked on a number projects with Irony Point (HBO Max), Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, Stranger Things (Netflix), Star Wars (Lucas Film), Star Trek, Godzilla (Legendary), HBO, Image Comics, Oni Press, 2000AD, Vault Comics, Z2 (The RZA, Joan Jett and The Black Hearts and BLONDIE), Ahoy Comics, TKO Studios, Kings Features, Scrappy Heart Productions (AJ Mendez and Aimee Garcia), Scout Comics along with recent creator owned original graphic novels such as Know Your Station and Trve Kvlt.
