Electric cars more harmful than conventional, hybrid cars: IIT Kanpur study. A recent study done by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur challenged the claim that electronic cars are more environment-friendly than hybrid cars and conventional internal combustion engine cars.
