We just wanted to remind you about our important update regarding your future Control4 Controller registration process. You may or may not have seen a few emails about this, but we hope this is on your radar. 

Beginning 23rd April 2024, we'll be transitioning all Controller registrations to our cloud-based platform OvrC. Read on to learn more or click the button below to see how you can effectively transition your future Controllers.

Why Do We Want You To Register Your Controllers On OvrC?
Improved Efficiency & Accessibility 

OvrC will provide a far more time-efficient & streamlined registration process than if you were to register via your current Composer Pro process. The process only requires a few steps and takes 90 seconds to complete, with access to temporary credentials for the Control4 App.

 
Enhanced Security

Composer Pro was built 20 years ago with security measures that matched that time period. These security measures are no longer recommended for today's time period.
 
Registering through OvrC means:
 
  • All highly-important details and credentials will be secure.
  • Multi-factor authentication is available.
  • Any access to OvrC requires authenticated credentials with every session.
  • Any software patches addressing cyber vulnerabilities can be rapidly executed.

Future Proof Your Systems
 
OvrC empowers you to stay ahead and apply a forward-approach to your client projects. Unlike Composer Pro, OvrC continually evolves with changes in technology trends. It's cloud-based, included in all Snap One offerings, and will automatically notify you for key firmware updates.
