An international academic conference devoted to the relevance of Emmanuel Levinas’ ethical philosophy of the Other today, with a dual focus, on the challenges of our contemporary world, e.g., environmental disaster, Russia’s war, rising fascism, omni-surveillance, obscene wealth disparity, etc., and on the reception of his thought in relation to newer intellectual developments, e.g., postmodernism, posthumanism, neorealism, plasticity, Anthropocene.
Conference will be held in English.
Venue: Vilnius University, Universiteto str. 3, Aula Parva and Senate Hall, Vilnius, Lithuania.
