Siaya County water and sanitation project - Sustainably Transforming Siaya's Water Schemes In Siaya, rural water schemes often faced sustainability challenges. Dorcas, alongside Maji Milele and the County Government of Siaya, has introduced a groundbreaking "Public Ownership, Private Management" (POPM) model through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The project aims to enhance water supply sustainability, service quality, and profitability, focusing on innovation like pre-paid meters, sanitation product access via loyalty points, and Community-Led Total Sanitation for open defecation-free zones. Moreover, the project champions gender equality and inclusion, offering leadership, decision-making, and entrepreneurship opportunities for women, as well as support for the poor and vulnerable with free water and community safety nets. This transformative partnership is governed by key agreements and holds the potential to benefit 108,500 people in Siaya while paving the way for further scalability and external financing. #Sustainability #SustainableSolutions #EUCORDClimateChampion

2,000 Voices, One Mission That's the dream at ESTAH, and let me tell you, we're making a real difference! Think of us as everyday champions for positive change. We use these helpful guides called SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Stuff Companies Do) to make sure our efforts really matter. We're talking about fighting climate change, stopping poverty, and giving everyone a fair shot at a good life. But here's the catch: we can't do this alone! That's why we want everyone to join in. The more people we have, the bigger the difference we can make – that's what we mean by collective action. We're already seeing some awesome results. 1. We've planted tons of trees (over 820,000!) 2. Helped out thousands of people in communities around the world (7000+) 3. Empowered over 80,000 amazing women to make a change. And guess what? We have a whole crew of 2,000 ambassadors spreading the word and inspiring others to join the movement. It's like a giant team effort for good! So, want to be part of something incredible? Join ESTAH and let's build a future that's sustainable, inclusive, and totally awesome for everyone. Follow for more ESTAH Society #Estahsociety #WEHEALTHE #visionongreeenerearth
