🔍🚀Delighted to have finished my 2nd Irish Management Institute Professional Diploma in Strategy and Innovation 🎓✨ The best bit about doing courses like this with industry peers is you get time to digest and think about Strategy and Innovation and how we are going to embrace Strategy and Innovation in such a Dynamic Market 🔎 Reflecting on the program I feel it has taught me the importance of looking inward as much as outward. By conducting a thorough analysis of my our internal strengths, weaknesses, and Perceived value and our unique value propositions. Gaining a deeper understanding of how to position ourselves strategically in the market. 💡 Moreover, the program emphasised the need for continuous innovation. By fostering a culture of creativity and encouraging cross-functional collaboration, we were able to unlock new ideas and drive impactful change within our organisation. ✨ I'm excited to apply the knowledge and skills I've gained to drive strategic initiatives, identify new growth opportunities, and stay at the forefront of innovation in my industry. AICPA & CIMA #ManagementAccounting CGMA Global Business Case Challenge North Asia Final 2023 was successfully held on 10 June in Macau. 11 top elite teams in the region (including students from Taiwan and Japan )competed the championship at the grand lecture hall of City University of Macau👏👏🎉 It’s my honour and pleasure to be one of the judge panelists. I was very impressed by the high quality business case analysis together with infographics storytelling presented by the students, in particular their applications of #managementaccounting knowledge & skills in tackling the issues and giving recommendations. 🙏🙏🤗 My huge congratulations to the winning teams 🏆🏆🏆👏👏 Champion: The University of Hong Kong 1st runner-up: The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Dual 2nd runner-up: University of Macau and City University of Macau Best Presenter Award: Lina Chzhan from The University of Hong Kong The CGMA Global Business Challenge (referred to as ‘GBC’) is an international competition for full-time undergraduates across the globe initiated by AICPA & CIMA. It is designed to discover and develop college students' excellence in business, incorporate what they've learnt, advance their competitiveness in the future career. The competition aims at developing more future business leaders to advance our social development. Founded in 2008, it has attracted the attention of countries and regions all over the world, with countries/cities including Britain, Ireland, Sri Lanka, India, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Zambia, Singapore, the Middle East, Russia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, South Africa, Garner, the United Arab Emirates and Australia taking part. Case Study Competition: Lessons Learned and Skills Gained A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to participate in the CGMA Business Leader Challenge at the University of Lagos. This was my first time competing in a case competition, and I was excited to challenge myself and learn from the other participants in which we became part of the winning team. The case study focused on a real-world business problem faced by the Gaming Industry and also Focused on the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). We were given some days to analyze the case, develop a solution. During the competition, I learned a lot about myself, my strengths and weaknesses. I also learned a lot about teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. Here are a few of the key lessons I learned: ✨The importance of teamwork: Case competitions are typically team events, and it is important to be able to work effectively with others. I learned to listen to my teammates' ideas, share my own ideas constructively, and compromise. ✨The importance of problem-solving: Case competitions require you to think critically and solve complex problems under pressure. I learned to break down problems into smaller steps and to develop creative solutions. ✨The importance of communication: Case competitions require you to be able to communicate your ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing. I learned to tailor my communication style to my audience and to be clear and concise. Overall, I had a great experience participating in the CGMA Business Leader Challenge. I learned a lot about myself and my skills, and I made some great friends in the process. It is a great way to challenge yourself and learn new skills. I gained valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. I gained knowledge about the Gaming Industry and also ESG Implementation. I also experienced working under pressure. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the CGMA Business Leader Challenge. It was a valuable learning experience.

Over the past seven years, we have been incredibly fortunate to be a part of the Esade community. Throughout it all, we have always prioritized creating engaging and interactive exchanges that foster connection and enjoyment among participants. Each group we work with possesses a unique multicultural identity, constantly challenging us to fine-tune our awareness and adapt our approach to team building and self-leadership. This skill is honed through repeated exposure and being fully present in the moment. Recently, we had the opportunity to explore the topic of improvisation with esteemed professionals such as Gabriella Opaz, M.Ed and Jessica ʙʀᴇɪᴛᴇɴꜰᴇʟᴅ Breitenfeld. This continuous growth allows us to embrace the flow of each situation. Working with people from all around the world has been a true privilege. Knowing that we are contributing to the development of tomorrow's leaders while also helping individuals become better versions of themselves today is incredibly rewarding. We firmly believe that the principles found in music, such as active listening, respect, trust, and vulnerability, play a vital role in the speeches we deliver.
