This post has been co-created by Shashi Matta and Maximilian Bauer With two Master’s degrees in Organic Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Francesca Blasco started her career as a scientist in the pharma industry. After a career in top Pharma companies such as Roche and Novartis, Francesca moved to the Animal Nutrition and Health industry and built a global career in leading R&D, #ProductDevelopment, and #Innovation teams in Asia and Europe. She is currently the Global Head of Product Development and Innovation at Phytobiotics GmbH. We had the pleasure of hosting Francesca and Jan Rodig at an exclusive #MBA #Leadership Talk event on campus, at WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. What strikes you immediately about Francesca is how she masterfully balances her remarkable achievements with a genuine warmth and an infectious zest for life. Behind her humor and friendly exterior lies a keen intellect, a strong command of people-focused leadership, and a relentless drive for innovation. Francesca exemplifies how Innovation should be led and managed in organizations – with a focus on people more than anything else. She is a self-professed Chief #Happiness Officer at Phytobiotics, which the company has embraced.
