Help Dan's Recovery: Overcoming Tragic Accident

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a sincere plea for help. Our dear friend, Daniel Fraser, has been through a life-altering tragedy that has left us all shaken and heartbroken. In a horrific motorbike accident on Sunday 13th August 2023, Daniel collided with a HGV, resulting in the loss of his right arm and other critical injuries. We still do not fully understand the full extent and lasting impact of his other injuries, but he remains in hospital and has a very long and difficult journey ahead of him.

Why This Matters

Daniel's life, as well as the lives of his loving fiancée, Lu, and their precious four-month-old baby, Lyndy, have been forever changed. Daniel is more than just a friend; he's our big loveable bear and vibrant soul who brings joy to everyone around him. This accident has not only taken his arm but also his ability to continue his career as a self-employed carpenter. A career he loved and excelled in, and one that provided for his growing family.

Our Goal: £30,000

We are rallying together to raise £30,000 to support Daniel, Lu, and Lyndy during this incredibly challenging time. The funds will go towards essential expenses such as medical bills, home modifications to accommodate Daniel's needs, and financial stability as Daniel embarks on a journey of adaptation and upskilling for a new career path.

Daniel, a passionate gamer and gym enthusiast who found solace in weight lifting and CrossFit, or outdoors on his bike or fishing, now faces a future where he can't enjoy the activities he once loved. Dan is also a lover of rugby, a supporter of Wasps and has played for numerous clubs in Warwickshire such as Old Leamingtonians and Harbury rugby club, where he is well thought of and respected. His successful carpentry career, built on hard work and dedication, has been tragically disrupted. Your support can help Daniel regain a sense of normalcy and give him the means to reestablish his life.
