NDA is a separate institute that prepares aspirants for the Indian armed forces. The NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.

The NDA (I) application form will be released on December 20, 2023, through online mode. Candidates can fill out the form until January 9, 2024. The form must be filled out completely accurately; otherwise, it can be rejected by the UPSC.

Here is the step by step process of how to Apply for NDA form in 2024:

Step 1 Access the Official UPSC Website

Step 2 complete OTR registration if don’t have

• Open the official website of UPSC.
• Click on the link Apply Online.
• Click on “one time registration (OTR) for examinations of UPSC” option.
• Fill details like Name, Gender, DOB, Parents details, mobile number, Email ID etc.
• Complete the registration.
• Verify details and click on the “I agree” option.
• You will get OTP & then verify through OTP
• After that you will get an OTR Id.
• Keep in mind that Email id & Mobile NO Should be active because you will get all the notifications through emails.

Step 3 log in

• After successfully registration click on “Log in”.
• And the n log in with email id & mobile no.
• You can also log in with OTR id.

Step 4 fill the application form part -1

• Click on the latest notifications option
• You will get the option NDA 2024 application form.
• Now click on the option
• You will get the instruction form for NDA form
• Carefully read all the instruction before filling application form.

Fill the application form part -2

• It will automatically fetch all the personal details which you have filled during the OTR registration.
• After fetching personal details it will take you to the educational qualification details.
• You will get four option for filling educational  details
• Please select the class which you have passed or appearing currently.
• Now fill your  complete address
• You will also get the option  to select  community in case you are belongs to SC\ ST you will get the fee remission

Step 5 choose the branch preference

• Now you will get the option chose between Indian Army, Air Force and Navy.
• You will have to mark preference in number from 0 to 4
• In case you have marked 0 it will count as that candidates don’t want to give any preference
• Click on continue option

Step 6 verify your details

• At this stage you should verify all details
• You will also get the last chance to update any details if you want
• Then click on the I agree
• After that you will get the registration id
• Also don’t forget to take a print out of this page and not down the details such as registration number and DOB.

Step 7 fee payment

• At this stage you need to pay form fee
• You can payment through cash/credit card/debit card or net banking.
• After the successfully payment you will get the SMS on your registered mobile number.

Note – fee exemption is admissible only to SC/ST /female candidates who are wards of JCO/NCO/other rank officers and studying in sanik and military school

Step 8 upload documents

• Now you have to upload  photo and signature
• Photo and signature should be in jpg format
• Photo size should be between 20 kb – to 300 kb.
• Signature size should be between 1 kb to 40 kb.
• You can also see the photo and signature if you are satisfied with it click on the confirm upload.

Step 9 choose exam center

• You can choose exam center as per your comfort or suitability.
• You can choose any center which you want

Step 10 Read Declaration and Click on Agree

• Here you have completed all process for filling NDA 2024 forms.
• Click on I have read declaration and I agree option for final submission.
• Now take a print out of your application form.
