Thank you for expressing interest in becoming a performer for the 3rd annual Portland-Vancouver Samoan Festival! Please review the following information and reach out if you have any questions.
PURPOSE: The Samoan festival aims to empower and celebrate all aspects of the Samoan Culture.
GOAL: Celebrating Samoan culture through dance, singing, art, food and more.
EXPECTATIONS:
• Dance groups are limited to 15 minutes, and 30 minutes for bands.
• 24x16 ft stage that's 2 ft off the ground will be provided, so please plan accordingly.
• Performers will be required to arrive by 10 AM on the day of the festival for rehearsals and mic checks. More information regarding check-in will be emailed to you at a later date.
• Two or three delegates will be required to a mandatory virtual check-in meeting will be scheduled at a later date to discuss logistics and answer any questions.
• A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your participation.
