Asia Society Hong Kong Center is proud to present an evening reception, dinner, and dialogue with Amy Chua, John M. Duff, Jr. Professor of Law at Yale Law School and author of World on Fire, Day of Empire, Political Tribes, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, and most recently, The Golden Gate, her first novel.

How did Amy journey from the child of immigrant parents to a high-powered legal career to the heights of academia, writing conversation-starting non-fiction books along the way? What led to her decision to write a novel, and how has her own background and relationship with Asia influenced her writing? What lessons can we draw from her past non-fiction works to understand the world today? Join us for what is sure to be a fascinating exploration of these questions and more.

In conversation with Carol Yu, Founding Partner and Associate Dean of Shenzhen InnoX Academy, join us for what is sure to be a fascinating exploration of these questions and more.
