Job Description: Sales Manager

Lead a close-knit crew of dynamic sales reps at a leading Melbourne indie brewery based in Collingwood.

THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN…

We’re on the hunt for an engaging leader to replace our beloved Sales Manager who is off to new opportunities overseas. This role will lead the charge in servicing and building upon our existing customer base in Melbourne and share our love of great beer with its communities . You’ll have the opportunity to represent our evolving beer portfolio to our diverse market with strong support from the sales and marketing teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Identify opportunities to expand business within Melbourne and Victoria.
  • Develop sales plans for keg and packaged products to meet set targets.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, tailored to customer needs and company objectives.
  • Manage, nurture and grow existing and new relationships with key accounts both on and off-premise.
  • Submit reports on time and actively lead team meetings.
  • Be business savvy with an understanding of meeting and managing budgets and expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department on products, pricing, and promotional plans.
  • Develop, drive, nurture and support the sales team to achieve targets, providing guidance in trade settings.

  • Proven in your sales experience in a similar role and a hunger to make this position your own.
  • You love ‘all things Melbourne’ and have an existing network within Victoria.
  • A highly organised self-starter with effective demonstrated time management skills.
  • A love and passion for craft beer and the Victorian craft beverage industry.
  • You love getting out into the community and spreading the good word on our values and products to whoever will listen.
