Appearance
23
Nira doesn't look a day over 116, despite actually being 216 thanks to getting stuck in a Teucri time bubble for a hundred years!
24
Her skin is quite pale from spending so much time indoors and away from the sun, and her hands are soft from avoiding any sort of manual labor.
25
She is both short and lean for her race, with barely any discernable muscle.

28
Personality
29
Nerdy. Bookish. Cautious.
30
Nira can be prone to dwelling too long on a problem. She will consider a given situation as best she can and then make an informed decision. This can often see her hesitate before acting.
31
Nira has great respect for both life and death. As a result very few of her spells could actually 'kill' a person. The majority of her spells are for buffing her allies or debuffing her opponents. The exception to this is her assortment of spells for ridding the Wold of undead.

History
36
Nira was always inquisitive as a child. She would ask no less than 20 "Why?" questions each day, all of which were answered by her very patient parents as best they could. It wasn't long before her questions became too difficult for them, and so they introduced her to the wonder of libraries and books.
37
After that Nira spent as much time as she could filling her head with all sorts of information, while her parents watched on and smiled.
38
They largely lived in peace and deaths were rare in her village. When Nira attended her first funeral she was equally intrigued and confused. "Death isn't to be feared" her parents explained "The afterlife is a reward for a life well lived". That didn't quite make sense though. If that were true, why was it bad to kill people and help them get them there sooner? Why was it a reward to be separated from your family? If she was to be separated from her family, shouldnt that be something to be afraid of?
39
From that point Nira devoted her studies to understanding life and death. She needed answers. She approached it from a pragmatic perspective, examining each piece of information she found.
40
It took many years, but Nira came to understand the balance of positive and negative energy and the part each piece played. One could not exist without the other. She learnt the concept that the afterlife played - and Gargul's role in it. Life and death were each to be given their due respect.

Family
44
Nira's family are very supportive of their daughter adventuring. It gets her out of the libraries and into the real world! Though her mother tends to worry a little, her father is quite confident that they have raised their daughter to look after herself.
45
Father: Dain. Retired soldier now stable master.
46
Mother: Alenia. Seamstress.
