Alison's Gender Affirming Surgery Fundraiser

This GoFundMe is for Alison (aka Alibama).

Ali had her SRS consultation recently, and she could be having surgery in as soon as four weeks! This is something she has wanted forever and it's so exciting that it's happening.

However we (her chosen family) are asking for help for this process. We need help towards her travel costs, accommodation, after care products, food prep and her bills.

Alison currently relies on PIP, UC, and drag for her income however, this isn't enough to sustain her whilst she will be in recovery. And understandably, the stress of all the changes in her life lately are being magnified with the potential of the surgery being so soon.

Ali brings so much happiness, light and joy into everyone's lives and she doesn't like asking for help but I am asking on her behalf to try to alleviate some stress and anxiety for her about the cost of this life saving and gender affirming surgery.

Any extra money raised will be put towards getting her a passport and/or a provisional license and helping with a deposit for new housing as her current home is not good for her mental or physical health.

Part of her aftercare requires regular bathing and soaking, and her current housing has no hot water, with no prospects of this being resolved anytime soon, this is not feasible for proper and comfortable healing conditions.

Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Alison will know how much love, compassion and support she gives everyone, no matter who they are. Now is our time to show that same compassion and support.
