1. Introduction
6
Adventure Mode is PCRD's idle gaming mode that is your main source of EX equipment/coins, and also provides a small but steady supply of hard-to-get character shards.
7
8
9
EX Equipment are the equipment from the last tab on the character page (the one that most Global players probably aren't aware of). They generally give slight bonuses to base stats and/or passive stat-boosting skills. (e.g. Large PATK boost at the middle of the battle only, as in the below screenshot). But that's a topic for another day.

2. Start Adventuring
13
To actually start adventuring, click on the menu option in the Quests section, as in the first image, and you will see the screen below.
14
15
Select either Area 1: Yupiter Woodlands, or Area 2: Mercuria Bay Entrance. It's recommended to do Area 2 as it has a better array of drops overall.
16
17
18
19
Select one of the 5 sub-areas. All sub-areas currently have the same character limit (10), power requirement (100k power minimum total across all characters selected), and time to complete; the only difference is the EX equipment type they give.
20
21
22
23
Choose the characters to go on the adventure. The characters selected must meet the character limit and power requirements; if your account level is low, you likely will need to put a lot of built characters just to meet the power requirement of 100k.

Put characters whose shards you want in the first three slots. The higher the total power of the group, the less time you need to finish the adventure. You can also use the おまかせ (Autofill) button at the top right, which will auto-select the ten highest powered units by default. (Although if you want to spread the power between the adventuring parties to keep the time consistent, you'll have to fiddle with this yourself)

You can also choose to set the adventuring party to go through anywhere between 1 to 5 loops. This should almost always be set to 5, as you can pop in to the Adventure section at any time and choose to reap the rewards or whatever loops have finished, and add more loops as needed, or stop adventuring entirely and choose another sub-area if you want different equips.

The button to the left of the loop selection allows you to shorten the adventuring time via tickets or gems. You get tickets themselves from adventuring, so feel free to use them up, up to 36 per day. Gems are of course whalebait only.

25
26
27
28
29
Repeat the steps above up to 3 times, as the current maximum amount of adventuring parties is 3. For new accounts who don't have many units built, you may have to settle with less adventuring parties at once until your account becomes more mature.
30
31
32
33
There are events that spawn every 8 hours that give random EX equipment or coins, just clear them whenever you enter the Adventure tab. The "EVENT!" button on the right side of the screen will bring you instantly to them if any are active.
34
35
36
37
The confirm returns button at the bottom-right lets you see the results of any finished adventuring loops, and lets you replenish them after. You will get a similar prompt every time you enter the Adventure section when adventuring loops have finished as well.

3. Other Useful Settings
46
47
You can choose to auto-convert low level EX equipment to coins by going to the Menu at the top-right, then selecting the button below:
48
49
50
51
52
I would recommend to convert all 1* at the very least, and probably all 2* as well, as highlighted in the screenshot above. Most of the time you will be using 3* (Gold) or 4* (Purple) equips.
53
54
55
56
If you regularly use the Autofill button when selecting your adventuring parties, you may also want to set a list of priority characters, which can be found in the same Menu.
57
58
59
60
From here, you can choose the highest priority units to go on adventures, as well as the priority within the units selected (the center-right button).
61
62
63
When using the autofill button, the three highest priority characters not already on an adventure will always be selected to fill the shard slots.
