The Chiefs Esports Club retain their position as the most successful Oceanic esports organisation after the release of Sports Entertainment Networks annual list of "Top 25 Sporting Teams in Australasia". Previously ranking 14th overall in 2022, The Chiefs have jumped to #11 for 2023 after back-to-back wins of the 2023 LCO Championships.

Topping the list for 2023 were the Penrith Panthers who were closely followed by Melbourne City and the Crusaders.

"The success of The Chiefs for 2023 belongs entirely to previous CEO Nick Bobir and his management team, as well as the dedication from each of our players. We are honoured to be featured among such esteemed sporting clubs and will continue to drive Oceanic esports as best we can." - Brendan Harms, Managing Director at The Chiefs.

The Chiefs made history in 2023 by winning their 3rd consecutive LCO title.

The Chiefs would like to thank our ongoing commercial partners that continue to support the success of the club.

The list by GAIN LINE Analytics which is awarded annually takes into account factors such as win percentage, competition size, and stability and is calculated across rolling 5-year periods.
