Following Outlander season seven's extremely eventful midseason finale, all eyes are now on what happens next.
Teasing what lies ahead for the Fraser family, executive producer Maril Davis told us: "The second half is even more exciting – it's like the second half does not give you time to breathe.
"There are so many ups and downs for everyone and so many life moments. I can't even put it into words – the second half is going to be even crazier than the first."

Outlander season 7 part 2 release date: When is it out?
Outlander's seventh outing is twice the length of season six, at 16 episodes long.Those 16 episodes, however, have been divided into two halves, with the first half having premiered in June 2023.
While we know the second batch of episodes will arrive in 2024, a specific release date has yet to be confirmed. So get ready for another Droughtlander, folks.

Outlander season 7 part 2 cast: Who will be in it?
We'd also expect Charles Vandervaart to return in part 2 as William Ransom, Jamie Fraser's secret son.A character from Outlander season three will also be making a comeback for the upcoming episodes, only the role has been re-cast.
Laura Donnelly played Jaimie’s sister Jenny Murray in the earlier seasons, but it's been announced that Kristin Atherton (known for roles in Waterloo Road and Doctors) will replace her. Scheduling conflicts were cited as the reason for Donnelly's absence.
Other former characters that have been confirmed for the next season include Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek), Brian Fraser (Andrew Whipp), Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish), Ian Murray (Steven Cree), Joan MacKimmie (Layla Burns) and Laoghaire Fraser (Nell Hudson).
You may have noticed that some of these characters have previously been killed off on the show. Showrunner Matthew B Roberts has teased how their returns might come about.
"One of the many joys of our epic story is the element of time travel, which allows us to revisit some of our favourite characters in different times and places, and we're thrilled to welcome back so many familiar faces for season seven," he explained (via TVLine).
But it's not just about the old faces. There are also plenty of new additions, including Loria Obianyo (Dune) as Mercy Woodcock, Rod Hallett (The Last Kingdom) as Benedict Arnold, and Chris Fulton (Bridgerton) as Rob Cameron.
"In addition to our returning cast, we’re also excited to welcome several new actors to the Outlander family and cannot wait to introduce them to fans in our extended season," Roberts said.

Two beloved characters who unfortunately won’t be returning are Marsali (Lauren Lyle) and Fergus (Cesar Domby), who were last seen in season six when they left Fraser’s Ridge to find a better life for their children.
Explaining the reason behind their absence in an interview with Express, Davis said: "Lauren was busy with a couple of other things as was Cesar so you know that was purposely in talking with those actors and where we decided to take this season, we don’t see their stories unfortunately."
Outlander season 7 part 2 plot: What will happen?
The first half of Outlander season seven came to an end with Jamie, Claire and Ian leaving the American Revolutionary War and finally heading back to bonnie Scotland.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Davis confirmed that we’ll see some familiar faces in part two as the trio make their way to Jaimie and Ian’s family home, Lallybroch.
"Like Fraser's Ridge, Lallybroch is our other home point. And to return back to Lallybroch where it all started in so many ways is really exciting," she said.
Meanwhile, back in the 20th century, Roger and Bree have discovered that Rob Cameron has kidnapped their son, Jemmy.
The couple think that Rob has taken their son through the stones to the 18th century in order to help him find the hidden Jacobite gold near Fraser's Ridge.
The mid-season finale saw Roger and Buck (Roger's ancestor who accidentally travelled to the 20th century) head to Craigh Na Dun to travel through the stones in search of Jemmy, leaving Bree and daughter Mandy behind.
We would, of course, expect part two to solve this cliffhanger by revealing Jemmy’s whereabouts. Did he really go through the stones? Will Roger and Buck be able to save him if he did? And what will happen to Bree and Mandy in the 20th century?
Posting a clip to his Instagram account in November 2023, Heughan said: "Did you catch the mid-season finale? Took Jamie’s breath away."
In the video, the actor talked about the moment in the mid-season finale when Jamie finally returned to Scotland with Claire, saying: "When Jamie finally sees Scotland, it’s a huge moment for him, for the family. They’ve returned!
"It’s his home, he’s a Highlander through and through, and to see the mountains there and to know he’ll be home at Lallybroch is such a huge moment and a beautiful way to end the first half of this season."
